 Session Start: Sun Feb 16 20:00:38 2003

<Storyteller> Now for a bit of non RPG introduction... Tonight's session is one of the sessions I played in my original Technocracy chronicles. There the Birmingham construct was established, and the chracter Andersen introduced to you created. One of the members of the group quit before this story and because of a number of coincidences and his personal story was turned into a Ventrue vampire. That Ventrue has attacked the other members of the team and did some serious nastiness to the Techies... She is still somewhere in Birmingham. You will probably come into her but not in this session.

DrSchmidt is glad he has his enhanced Laser pointer ^_^

<Storyteller> For tonight I'll probably be roleplaying an additional extra team member... Peter Redraven. His player might join us at a later date and in the original session, he was there... Any questions, ideas and/or wishes?

Niles_Powers has nothing to add.

<DrSchmidt> Storyteller: Hm... I still would love to get some piloting lessons ^_^

<Storyteller> Okay, Schmidt wants to meet Maverick and learn Piloting.

DrSchmidt grins. That's the idea.

<Storyteller> Jan, Niles?

<Niles_Powers> No special request here.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> None that I can manage on short term, but I'd like to acquaint myself with lots of people inside and outside the Construct...

Storyteller prepares a few things and notes we will start in about 5 mins.

<DrSchmidt> :-)

DrSchmidt thinks it was a shame he didn't get any piloting lessons while in the Cop, but there he got a lot of other training...

<Storyteller> (You may start roleplaying the morning in the construct and your meeting in the planning room at 08:00)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (I hand in my predictions (used Entropy 2 and Time 2) to all the bad stuff that might happen if..with Dr.Schmidt)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> !dice 2

<agww-dice> Jan_Pieterszoon rolls the dice and gets the following results: 8 1

<Storyteller> (LOL)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (The predictions are not completely correct though :))

<Storyteller> Your prediction shows no possible dangers for the meeting...

DrSchmidt yawns and looks at the alarm clock. 7:00... The meeting was set at 8:00, so he should be able to get a lengthy shower and a nice breakfast.

Jan_Pieterszoon wakes at 7:30, takes a shower and is down around 7:55 with a cup of coffee in his hand, this time wearing his yellow shirt and black suit combination.

DrSchmidt shuffles into the bathroom and disappears for a while ^_^

Niles_Powers set his alarm clock for 6:30. He likes to have time to wake up.

DrSchmidt is finally out of the shower and throws himself into one of his usual overalls, setting the colour-switch to the usual grey he wears when he's not in the mood for the Big Joke orange. He looks into the mirror, decides that his hair is a mess as usual, but he can't do anything about it anyway, and so he sets out to find the canteen at level 43.

Niles_Powers can't remember if we had requested some surveillance gear.

DrSchmidt takes the stairs up to 43, and looks around.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Yes, three of them...

<Jan_Pieterszoon> ((If only I could recall the name of those things))

<DrSchmidt> (We got some ectopods and some other gear. And I said I could modify some stuff if needed)

DrSchmidt yawns and hopes to get a strong coffee at the canteen.

Niles_Powers will go out of his room at 7H15 for the meeting room and grabs a newspaper and some tea during the travel.

DrSchmidt walks to the counter.

<DrSchmidt> (Hey ST, what kind of coffee do they have there? *g*)

<Storyteller> (Turkish, Indian, straight black, macchiato, capuccino - if you can imagine it you can get it... And if it isn't already prepared you can request it...)

DrSchmidt chooses a café au lait in the largest mug they have.

<Storyteller> (A pint black glass with a soft white Technocracy logo.)

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Perfect. Pete will love it!)

<Storyteller> (pint = around 0.5 liter)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (0,475 to be precise)

<DrSchmidt> :-))

DrSchmidt looks for some croissants and thinks he might like it in Birmingham.

<Storyteller> The canteen is huge and quite comfy... It seems that Andersen's carefree attitude avoided to make it lifeless and bleak. It is decorated with pictures from the building of the base and all the tables are made to look like they are made from wood... In all corners there are plants of all descriptions for decoration and there are boards with history of the construct and latest news and infromation from the staff. It is just as tasteful as it should be... without oppressive greenery and not being a bleak and lifeless room meant just for feeding...

DrSchmidt takes the plate and the mug and looks for a free table.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> ack

DrSchmidt decides to read those some time later. Now it's breakfast time. And in about 25 minutes, there was a scheduled meeting

<Jan_Pieterszoon> at around 7:42 Jan hobbles in..gets himself a mug of coffee...and hobbles out again...

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (I noticed how slow Jan is)

<Storyteller> Schmidt you see some weird thing nipping inside and grabbing a mug of bcoffe and crawling outside

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Describe "weird thing")

Peter_Redraven enters the cafeteria

<DrSchmidt> (/me just looks MiB on TV, LOL. "weird thing" has a certain notion there :-)

<Storyteller> (as in the guy in a black suit with a YELLOW tie and unkempt hair

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Ah!)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (and as if it matters...he wears his hair real short)

Peter_Redraven is a tall muscular, good looking man, with hair let down to his shoulders, wearing black trousers and a white shirt... he is of noticably American indina descent

DrSchmidt sees this weird Syndie and deciced not to get his attention. He wants to load some caffeine first.

Peter_Redraven goes and picks some bacon and eggs for breakfast plus some suasages and tea.

<Storyteller> YOu soon find a table that is free of everybody... it is located in the central left portion of the cafeteria

DrSchmidt sits at that free table, munches his croissants and drinks his coffee.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (and ST, are you trying to spite me ?? I just wear a Yellow Shirt)

<Storyteller> (I have seen people in black suits with yellow shirts... that is HORRID, dingo! I prefer black or blue shirts on black suits I wear.)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (Yes, I know... That's why he's wearing it..)

Peter_Redraven goes around with his tray looking for a place to sit. As he notices Doc Schmidt, he heads towards him.

<Storyteller> As you see him, you remember him from yesterdays's briefing... He seems to be one of those members of the Amalgam...

DrSchmidt sees the native American seeming guy closing in and looks up.

<Peter_Redraven> Hello...

Peter_Redraven smiles.

<Peter_Redraven> Is this seat taken?

<DrSchmidt> Good morning. - No, please, feel free to sit down.

<Peter_Redraven> Why, thank you...

DrSchmidt smiles back noncommittally.

Peter_Redraven sits down and puts his tray down.

<Peter_Redraven> You are Dr.Schmidt?

DrSchmidt smiles wryly. Obviously the name plate at his collarbone betrayed him. Or it was his somewhat unusual hair colour.

<DrSchmidt> Yes.

<Peter_Redraven> I heard that some new agents were arriving...

<DrSchmidt> We haven't been introduced, but I think Mr.Andersen mentioned you...

<Peter_Redraven> I am Dr.Peter Redraven.

<DrSchmidt> Yes. Dr.Redraven.

<Peter_Redraven> Yes... the name is a bit strange.

Peter_Redraven smiles sheepishly.

<DrSchmidt> Nice to meet you. Mr.Andersen mentioned we are to replenish your Amalgam.

<Peter_Redraven> My grandfather was quite the traditonalist... after leaving his tribe ho took as his surname Redraven and moved to England. I was brought up here and went to some nice schools. - As for the Amalgam... Well my Amalgam has been having some troubles recently...

DrSchmidt nods.

<DrSchmidt> So I gathered. But I was only given a very brief intro yesterday.

Peter_Redraven smiles and notes something about "Need to know" jokingly...

DrSchmidt chuckles.

<Storyteller> (Doc Schmidt, you note that his irises on the eyes are WHITE.)

<DrSchmidt> (So noted, but I don't say anything about it.)

<Storyteller> (Okay, just wanted to note this since it is quite obvious when he sits near someone.)

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Ok. Pete is a very private person, and he won't ask people private details that he thinks might be too personal)

<DrSchmidt> You are so very right...

<Peter_Redraven> Well yes. The Amalgam still works... after a fashion...

<DrSchmidt> Would you care to elaborate, or does this fall under the need to know basis, too?

DrSchmidt raises his eyebrows jokingly.

<Peter_Redraven> John... uhm Supervisor Andersen told me to join you all today on that planned protection op of DNA... I am supposed to help you with it just to see if it might be better to swap members between the Amalgams...

<DrSchmidt> I see. Well, I'm pretty flexible about my co-workers.

Peter_Redraven looks down and mumbles something about a lost team leader and reality deviant.

DrSchmidt raises an eyebrow, now looking sober again. RDs are nothing to joke about.

Peter_Redraven looks solemn and starts eating his breakfast.

DrSchmidt finishes his croissants.

<Storyteller> (it is 6 minutes before 8)

DrSchmidt drinks up the coffee.

<DrSchmidt> The food here is exemplary. So you are on the meeting, too?

Peter_Redraven is looking glum...

<Peter_Redraven> Yes, I'll come...

<DrSchmidt> I guess we might walk down to the conference room then.

<Peter_Redraven> ...a bit later though

DrSchmidt nods.

<DrSchmidt> Be seeing you there.

DrSchmidt puts away plate and mug (I guess there is some kind of conveyor belt for the dirty dishes?). He then leaves the canteen for floor 39

Storyteller explains that as each of them come there they find the room ready with bottles of fresh water clean glasses and multiple pads with maps and scans... it is obvious that u are supposed to sit down and start making the plans for the secuirity setup

DrSchmidt looks at the setup and smiles satisfied. Now this is service!

<DrSchmidt> (Anyone of the others there?)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (already there)

DrSchmidt nods to Mr.Pieterszoon

<DrSchmidt> Good Morning, Mr.Pieterszoon.

Jan_Pieterszoon nods to DrSchmidt

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Good morning....

Niles_Powers waiting inside

DrSchmidt nods to Mr.Powers, too.

<DrSchmidt> Good Morning, Mr.Powers.

Niles_Powers waves

<Niles_Powers> Good days to you, gentlemen.

<DrSchmidt> I see everything is already set up? I am most content with the service here

DrSchmidt thinks back to his Amalgam in Frankfurt, where he had to take care for everything himself. He looks for a seat where he can oversee all the plans and maps.

<Niles_Powers> This construct works in orderly fashion, Mr.Schmidt.

<DrSchmidt> Obviously, Mr.Powers. Well, when being a field op, one often has to improvise, as it was the case in my former Amalgam

<Storyteller> There are small maps on small workstations that have sprouted from the desk... there are 5 active vewscreens and kepads.. .the centra lprojector is retracted...

DrSchmidt sits down in front of one of the workstations.

Niles_Powers is already seated.

Jan_Pieterszoon is seated too...

<Storyteller> (I know the maps I made are not much but use them to plan the layout... this is a simple security thingy so don't rush it and talk about what you wish to do.)

<DrSchmidt> As far as I heard, we are expected to meet another colleague here. So I wonder if we should wait for him or start right away. Mr.Powers, you are most intimate with this Construct's workings, what are the expected procedures?

<Storyteller> (start... only you know that since you met him this morning)

<DrSchmidt> (ST: ^_^ - I'll wait for Niles' verdict...)

<Niles_Powers> You are on your own, the only thing requested is a transcript for the Supervisor.

<DrSchmidt> Very well.

<Storyteller> (That is not the problem since all conversations here are recorded.)

<DrSchmidt> Okay. Let us recapitulate. We have to guard the compound which houses the convention at DNA Amalgamated. We have been given the following equipment: 3 mundane agents with training, 1 lifesign sensor array and 3 Ectopods for ExtraDim scans.

Pic of the compound

<Storyteller> (That is about it...)

<DrSchmidt> The Ectopods cover each about 5 meters of ground. So now we have to set up the resources to make the most use of them.

<Storyteller> No, their functional range is 5 meters and they are about 2 meters long each. There is no way you could use them to cover the whole area... even with tinkering...

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Heh. Still they have to be deployed strategically. What is the size of the compound? You didn't add measurements.)

<Storyteller> 60*70 meters... quite large... it seems hilarious they even assigned this much of the Ectos since you'd need at least 10 times as much as you have to have any sort of real coverage

<Jan_Pieterszoon> What is their range?

<DrSchmidt> There is a mundane fence. I could use the metal lines of this to set up an additional guard perimeter. The range of the Ectopods is about 5m, as I just looked up here. I think I might be able to increase their radius, but probably not enough to cover the whole compound.

<Storyteller> (You could get up to a 35 % increase)

DrSchmidt looks at the technical specs of the Ectopods.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Cover only the main entrances to where the scientists are located ?

<DrSchmidt> Well, I might increase their radius to 8-10 meters, but that's only with some luck.

<DrSchmidt> (Well, let's say, I think I can get more ^_^)

<Storyteller> (You could try and ask for more...)

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Well, that's an idea

<DrSchmidt> (ST: I will try what I can manage... :-) It doesn't have to work as I think...)

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Do you think we might get some additional Ectopods?

DrSchmidt frowns and doesn't think it's too likely, but one can always try.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> I don't really see the need for more, our task is to protect the scientists, both Mundane and Progenitor

<DrSchmidt> Well, I like to know what's going on outside. I had my share of unwanted extradimensional incursions when I least expected them.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> adn we can manage that by placing our current Ectopods right above all doorways, guard by two of DNA's guards..

<Niles_Powers> I can design a procedure to help us watch the compound...

<DrSchmidt> Niles: This would be most helpful.

<Niles_Powers> ...but I am uninformed on DS procedure.

<DrSchmidt> Mr.Pieterszoon, the problem is that we have both the labs and the convention zone to secure

<Jan_Pieterszoon> ((the lab isn't our problem is it?))

<DrSchmidt> Niles: This is no problem. We can work together on this.

<DrSchmidt> (Jan: I don't take any chances!)

<Storyteller> ((nope... you are there only for the night of the convention... and there won't even be more then one or two Progenitors.)

<DrSchmidt> (A lab that is so highly protected screams 'target' to me.)

<Niles_Powers> What are the instructions in case of an emergency?

<DrSchmidt> (Haven't gotten any yet ^_^)

<DrSchmidt> I guess we should apply standard procedure and call for reinforcements. But I would prefer to handle this on our own. After all, this is the first job of our fresh Amalgam here.

<Niles_Powers> I just realised that we don't have any secure vehicule, in case we want to make an evacuation

<Jan_Pieterszoon> If you really are worried we could use one of our trained men to post with the guards at the Lab.

<DrSchmidt> (How many scientists will attend the convention?)

<DrSchmidt> This sounds like a reasonable course of action, Mr.Pieterszoon.

<Storyteller> (Around 50 from all the nations of the world)

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Thx)

<DrSchmidt> Mr.Powers, this might be a prudent action. But do you think we will be given a full transporter if there is no real thought of this being a problematic job?

<Storyteller> (As to put down all the stuff with the lab... you are there to protect the people in the convention from any demonstrators or terrorists that might have problems with DNA manipulation... no much of a chance for RD's... right?)

<DrSchmidt> If cou can pull the connections to give us a transporter, please do it.

<Storyteller> And the fact is that DNA, Southampton hasn't been a target for anything but demonstrators for the last 4 years since it was created...

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Pete has a history of weeding out RD attacks on Progenitor labs... He will be very suspicious there. In Frankfurt there were three Progenitor labs taken down by various groups and Pete always had to do the cleam-up. That can make a man somewhat paranoid.)

<Storyteller> (Your problem... not mine. You just plan and try to requisition what you think you may need.)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (Did we get a budget?)

<DrSchmidt> (Well, I asked Niles to get the Transporter and Jan to get some more Ectopods already... They haven't answered on that yet.)

<Niles_Powers> Mr.Schmidt: I don't think I'll be able to pull this kind of things, I was until this assignement working only on solo on surveillance mission

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (I answered, I said I didn't think they were necessary because we are only there to protect the scientists, not the buildings, nor the lab (or whatever is in it))

<Storyteller> Transporter would be what?

<DrSchmidt> I understand, Mr.Powers. Well, I hope we will make do without such a fall-back then.

<DrSchmidt> (ST: A bus that can take 50-60 persons ^_^)

DrSchmidt sighs.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (There must be a way to rent those in Birmingham, just an ordinary bus.)

<Storyteller> (Are you crazy? You are acting as if someoen asked you to protect a technocratic base from a horde of Werewolves and Traditionalists together!)

<DrSchmidt> Okay. So we will have to make do with what we have and what we can rig together.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Are the guests ariving on their own, or is there some travel arrangement for them?

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Just some healthy paranoia ^_^)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (DrSchmidt: Now you are overdoing it...)

<DrSchmidt> Well, there is a parking lot in the compound, so I surmise they will use their own cars.

<Storyteller> They are arriving on their own... part of their vehicles will be parked in the DNA lot and any extra will be placed in the Southampton garage near the location

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Okay, then we will use valet parking and assign one of the agents as a valet. So he can inspect all the suspicious vehicles on the DNA lot without arousing too much suspicion and he's close to one of the other entrances that way.

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Ok.

Peter_Redraven enters the room

<Peter_Redraven> Hi folks.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> All to sate your really disturbing lack of faith in a good result. My preliminary predictions didn't show any troubles...

<DrSchmidt> I will see to it that I can add some additional protection to the chain fence.

Jan_Pieterszoon sighs.

<DrSchmidt> This just needs a generator and a little Forces/DimSci/Prime Procedure.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> DrSchmidt: I suspect that the fence will be adequate enough..

<DrSchmidt> Jan: It's not really much work to add such a generator.

Peter_Redraven is a huge, muscular man with shoulder length hair. He is wearing a black suit with a white shirt. His native american heritage is obvious.

<DrSchmidt> Hello, Mr.Redraven.

<Peter_Redraven> Hello gentlemen...

<Jan_Pieterszoon> And what if we don't have any dimensional incursions, just an ordinary loon who happens to have an invitation?

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Once I set up the perimeter, we don't have to man it, it will sound an alarm when trapped. So we can concentrate on the possible mundane problems.

<Peter_Redraven> Supervisor Andersen informed me that I should sit down with you on this planning and help you with anything I can... Ah that is my league...

<Niles_Powers> Good day to you, Mr.Redraven.

<Peter_Redraven> I will be attending the convention since I am a renowned geneticist...

<DrSchmidt> This is very practical, Mr.Redraven

<Jan_Pieterszoon> And what if they just bypass the perimeter?

<Peter_Redraven> Mr.Andersen has ordered the Q division to supply me with a number of tools that may help with prevention of any inside activity... though if there will be real trouble I will call you in.

<DrSchmidt> Jan: That's why we set up scanners inside, too. Remember the Ectopods?

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Yes and we can manage to use only 2 of them..

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Why that?

<Peter_Redraven> Anyhow I think that you should screen all the peple with invitations and see if there are any possible threats.

<DrSchmidt> Mr.Redraven: Of course

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Because the compound where the scientists are hosted has just two doors?

<Storyteller> Three, actually...

<DrSchmidt> (ST: What about any windows? Are there windows or backdoors that are not obvious?

<Storyteller> The entryway, the back garden and a huge one on the balcony...

<Storyteller> (Roll me a Perception + Security while looking at the map :))

<Niles_Powers> !dice 3

<agww-dice> Niles_Powers rolls the dice and gets the following results: 1 5 8

<DrSchmidt> !dice 4

<agww-dice> DrSchmidt rolls the dice and gets the following results: 2 6 6 8

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (not apparent on the "drawing") but then all is settled... We use the Ectopods to scan anything coming in through the doors...

<Jan_Pieterszoon> !dice 2

<agww-dice> Jan_Pieterszoon rolls the dice and gets the following results: 6 3

<Storyteller> (Okay, Doc Schmidt notices that there seems to be a doorway in the plans in the management section that leads underground and towards the labs)

DrSchmidt points out just that to his colleagues.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Well, post the last of our agents in front of that door.

DrSchmidt nods.

<Peter_Redraven> Ah, that should be enough... We can get them some weapon scanners and they'll get along ok... Maybe we could even get an explosives sniffer.

<DrSchmidt> Mr.Redraven, that would be very good.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> I suspect that perhaps DNA already has a metal detector.

<DrSchmidt> Okay. Let's see what we have now. One agent at the lab entry, one acting as valet, one at the doorway here, the ectopods at the entries...

Jan_Pieterszoon looks at Mr. Powers in despair.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Niles_Powers: Help me out here...

<DrSchmidt> Then I will try to get a generator to power up the chain fence...

<Niles_Powers> (ST: do we have details on DNA security beside the position of the dogs?)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Hey, people this is just a basic guard duty mission... The history of this lab is a clean as can be, only a few demonstrators... nothing ordinary guards can't handle... We have made it pretty secure and whatever MIGHT disturb the party will have a nasty surprise trying to get in.

<DrSchmidt> Well, one can never be too sure. I had my share of clean-up missions where the guards on duty had been too sure of themselves. And they all involved Progenitor labs.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> And this is no Progenitor Lab.

<DrSchmidt> But there are some of our esteemed colleagues there.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> For what I know we are there to cover for Mr. Redraven here spying on DNA.

<Niles_Powers> BTW where should be position ourself ?

DrSchmidt looks at the plan and ponders.

<DrSchmidt> What would you suggest, Mr.Powers? Mr.Redraven is inside the concention zone. Maybe one of us should mix with the attendees, too.

<Niles_Powers> I'd like to be inside.

<DrSchmidt> Okay.

<Niles_Powers> I want to gauge the mood of the attendees. Maybe I will be able to pick up some clue.

<DrSchmidt> This sounds like a prudent course of action.

DrSchmidt isn't well versed in Mind Procedures.

<DrSchmidt> I should stay outside in case of an emergency. I can adjust the devices for possible offensive actions.

<Niles_Powers> What about you, Mr.Pieterszoon?

DrSchmidt thinks Mr.Pieterszoon might be best suited to stay inside, too

<DrSchmidt> I think it might be a good idea to rig the Ectopods with an ectoplasmic emitter, so that one could take care of any extradimensional intruders right away.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> No, don't rig them.

<DrSchmidt> Why not?

DrSchmidt loves to works with containment fields.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Because we are there to protect the scientists, not to kill extradimensional intruders... What we do when we see extradimensional intruders is make a threat assesment, call it in, and handle the situation until we are relieved...

Jan_Pieterszoon has read up on protocols...

DrSchmidt sighs. He was the head of an NSC Unit back in Frankfurt who was specialized in taking care of such problems. He doubts there are many people here who would be better qualified in doing Extra Dim threat containment and deployment.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> But Mr. Powers I am better suited to be inside, too.

<DrSchmidt> I will definitely stay outside.

<Niles_Powers> You can go inside if you prefer, and I'll play back up for Mr.Schmidt.

<DrSchmidt> Very well, Mr.Powers. What about you standing guard at the entrance of the convention hall? Then you could evaluate the participants on entering.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> (((with my luck I'll make a fool out of Jan again)))

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Before I push you away, Mr.Powers, perhaps we should compare our expertises?

<Jan_Pieterszoon> ((I did compare..you are more formally trained))

<DrSchmidt> Well, we should take into account that you are not so mobile, Mr.Pieterszoon. So you staying inside might be a wiser choice after all.

<Niles_Powers> Well, Mr Pieterszoon, I am trained in Mind Procedures and behaviour analysis. And I have combat training.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Well, I don't need Mind Procedures to get along with people, or get a feel for them. And I had combat training too... I loathed it.

DrSchmidt lets the two sort it out together. He isn't the crack in Mind Procedures after all.

<Niles_Powers> I don't have any preferences, so if Mr.Pieterszoon prefers to be in charge inside, that's good enough for me.

DrSchmidt nods.

<DrSchmidt> As I only met you yesterday, I will not impose any job on you here. You will know best where yo can work most efficiently. - Mr.Powers what do you think of my suggestion to scan the attendees at the door as they arrive?

<Niles_Powers> That sounds good to me.

<DrSchmidt> Then you can both come to Mr.Pieterszoon's help if need be or support me if something appears outside.

Niles_Powers nods.

<DrSchmidt> I think I shall get into contact with Mr.Adams from Q Division to ask him whether I can employ a generator to empower the outside fence.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Another suggestion, even if nothing happens, please be so kind to scan everyone leaving the building too..

<DrSchmidt> Jan: Of course. We have the Ectopods set up at the entrances.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Oh, and beware of any glitches...

DrSchmidt smiles wryly.

<DrSchmidt> We will...

DrSchmidt looks to Mr.Redraven.

<DrSchmidt> Do you have any additional input?

Storyteller is back but with bad news

<Storyteller> We'll have to skip the session tonight... I gotta do some work ASAP.

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Oh.)

<Storyteller> We will continue at some time relatively soon... (Next Sunday or Friday)

<DrSchmidt> (ST: Well, we are almost set up ^_^)

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Well, we have our plan worked out :)

<DrSchmidt> Friday works with me, Sunday probably too. The others?

<Storyteller> Ok, great.

<Jan_Pieterszoon> Hmmz... Both are pretty hard, but I'll see what I can do :)

<Storyteller> Gotta run, guys...and gals :)

<Storyteller> Cya. Good night, all!

Storyteller has quit IRC (... I Will save your soul even if you die in the process...)

Session Close: Sun Feb 16 22:38:33 2003
