<ST> Last time we left off after admiring the virtual Meteor that Asmo dramatically compiled.

<MC_Farstrider> So it's a programing tool and therefore fits the local paradigm better.

<ST> So the group is somewhat mentally exhausted after the concentrated work - and of course they wonder what MC and Marcello are up to at the Meteor.

Marcello_Keagan grins.

<MC_Farstrider> After healing Ma's hand, MC asks Teora if she's heard from the crew?

Teora appears next to MC.

<Teora> They just created an elaborate attack program in the web. It looks impressive.

NAVI appears in a shimmer around MC's icon.

MC_Farstrider smiles.

<MC_Farstrider> I wish I understand that Realm better.

Teora projects a pic into the room (nice small hologram).

NAVI is a small cylinder near MC's head.

<Hannibal_Golux> (Did I miss something? Who/What the hell is NAVI?)

<Marcello_Keagan> (MC's "DW familiar")

Asm0dai is pleased by the toy he created. He is off to check the systems.

<Teora> Well, I guess you might ask Asmodai or Hannibal - they are masters of that Realm as I understood.

<MC_Farstrider> The Navi is a weaver tech DW guide and helper.

Marvin_Black inspects his plague cannon closer.

<Teora> Asmo seems to be willing to teach others about it - he taught AC quite some already.

Asm0dai joins Marv.

<Asm0dai> Nice toy, eh? I think you have outdone yourself.

AgentGrey has his arm wrapped around AC's shoulders and nods appreciatively.

<AC_Newton> Yeah, cool!

MC_Farstrider projects to the Web and asks Navi where is the crew of the Meteor?

NAVI flutters in front of MC's eyes and shows that his charge is almost in the maximum.

<Hannibal_Golux> (We on board the virtual Meteor?)

NAVI turns into a small arrow showing the huge Black Meteor above them.

<Marvin_Black> Giger couldn't have done it better. Death and decay in it's purest form will be jolted by the cannon. The world's real essence.

<ST> (Hanni: AC and Agent Grey stand at the Spy's Demise's entrance and admire the ship.)

<Asm0dai> I still think you need to learn a bit more about design.

MC_Farstrider goes in search of the crew.

DAN_Primus inspects the quantum laser to make sure it's shielded correctly.

<Marvin_Black> Why?

<Hannibal_Golux> Say hello to the Meteor V.

<ST> (Hanni: Asmo was on board, and the others looked, too. Maybe they moved now. ^_^)

<Asm0dai> Hmmm, we could go and use real Giger's work on this thingy.

<ST> (Where is Marcello? Didn't he accompany MC?)

<MC_Farstrider> Once aboard and with the crew, MC asks so, umm what now?

<Asm0dai> (Everyone is looking around. The ship is active, but it needs a command from me to change its systems to the new captain.)

<Marvin_Black> Why any real deal of Giger? This is style is pure Marvinism, so to say.

Marcello_Keagan is still a bit sulky. He's suffering from a rare type of Marvinism.

<Asm0dai> Well, it is your choice, no?

AC_Newton looks at the parts of the ship that looks a bit like a patchwork in different styles.

<AC_Newton> It's really cool.

<Marcello_Keagan> So he's probably on board the real Meteor still.

DAN_Primus walks over to AC.

<DAN_Primus> It looks like it's all operational.

MC_Farstrider looks for a private room to sit and think.

AC_Newton detaches herself gently from Kev's embrace and runs up the ramp to see how it looks from the inside.

AgentGrey follows AC.

NAVI shows small letters asking if he could find more data on the ship before saying anything.

<AC_Newton> It looks great, Dan! I'm really impressed!

Asm0dai taps Marv on his back and heads along the ship.

<Marvin_Black> I like this style. It depicts what's it all about and it will teach them what it means to live. It means to suffer and to die. I wouldn't like to be a victim of one of its bolts.

MC_Farstrider looks for Hanni or Asmo.

<Hannibal_Golux> So, Newton. You like our virtual reflection of the ship?

AC_Newton looks to Hanni and smiles brightly at him.

<AC_Newton> Absolutely! - And ...thanks :-)

Asm0dai turns around the corner and bumps into MC.

<Asm0dai> Oh...

<MC_Farstrider> I'm sorry, something of a clutz, I guess.

Hannibal_Golux winks at AC. No problem.

AC_Newton grins happily.

<Asm0dai> I didn't expect you to be here. I thought you considered this a hellhole.

Asm0dai smiles wryly.

DAN_Primus picks a seat near the viewport and sits, a laptop appearing in front of him. He runs a scanning program on their surroundings.

AgentGrey closes up to AC again and smiles. She is always somewhat spirited, he thinks.

<Asm0dai> (Wait, we cannot do this like this. We need to split into locations and let each be roleplayed in peace.)

<MC_Farstrider> Navi asks if he may get further information on the ship, and since you're one of the creators, it seems approriate to ask your permission.

AC_Newton is in the command center with Kevin, Dan and Hanni.

<MC_Farstrider> MC and Asmo are in a hallway talking.

Asm0dai looks astounded at the NAVI.

NAVI is fluttering around Asmo.

<Asm0dai> What is this?

Marcello_Keagan has an active bout of Marvinism on board of the Meteor.

<ST> (Ok, let's have MC & Asmo have a little chat first.)

Marvin_Black still looks at the Plague Cannon.

<ST> (Then the others can admire the ship, too.)

<Asm0dai> It reminds me of an Information Geomid, but they cannot be here in the Web.

<Marcello_Keagan> (Active Marvinism: being in a mood to help the decay of the world a little bit.)

MC_Farstrider apoligises for her bad manners.

Asm0dai starts a small holo console next to him and does some scans on the NAVI.

Han_Golux curses those sneaky timeouts hiding in the corners of the Meteor V.

<Asm0dai> Fascinating... How did you get this into the DW?

<MC_Farstrider> (He used to put words in the field of vision, what the guy called a "heads up disply". I think)

<NAVI> (Well, I am roleplaying it and I like it R2D2esque :))

<ST> (As long as MC understands it :-)

Hannibal_Golux imagines NAVI as a bit from Tron.

<NAVI> (He still creates small HUD's in thin air when something is important.)

<MC_Farstrider> Oh - that was a gift from a GW friend -- he said it was really a bad idea to wander physically in the DW without understanding where and what you are.

Hannibal_Golux proposes naming this... ship, the "Meteor V" and thinks we should take it for a spin around the data block.

AC_Newton smiles and nods.

<DAN_Primus> (As in in 'V' or as in 'Five'?)

Asm0dai thinks that 'Lisa' might be a nice name for the ship.

Hannibal_Golux thinks 'Lisa' is a stupid name for the ship.

<DAN_Primus> (Lisa is the name of the first PC with a GUI.)

Asm0dai is gonna bash Hannibal's nose in if he hears that remark.

MC_Farstrider thinks he probably talks in the language of spirits which she understands.

AC_Newton would love to call her 'Nova' :-)

<AC_Newton> She is new and will be a force of destruction of the bad guys.

NAVI chirps happily.

<Asm0dai> (Okay, naming later. NAVI, Asmo & MC now.)

<MC_Farstrider> Anyhow, Navi asked if he could learn more about the ship, and I thought it proper protocol to ask.

AC_Newton nods and snuggles up to Kev.

<Asm0dai> Ah well, the blueprints are mostly public. The commands are keyed to me since the ship is a Daemon I started. I will give you the blueprints so you can get around.

<MC_Farstrider> Navi, this is the builder, he can tell you what you need to know.

Asm0dai starts some sort of holo screen that starts.

NAVI starts jumping up and down before the screen while the letters and maps twirl above and below it.

<Asm0dai> Happy little bugger.

<MC_Farstrider> (thinks of Number 5 and "more Data!")

<Asm0dai> I thought you didn't trust the Web - or me?

Marvin_Black enters the ship at last and inspects the corridors he walks along, feeling ignored as usual.

<MC_Farstrider> I thought I might be of help, although I really don't understand the DW much.

<Asm0dai> Yes. I noticed from your reactions. The Web works completely different.

<MC_Farstrider> You and I have straightened that issue out, Jack and the others are wary, but the real problem was Kat, who is now on holiday.

<Asm0dai> Jack Ah, one of your... fragments...

<MC_Farstrider> Jack is acting as protector while Kat is on holiday.

<Asm0dai> From what McClude told me, the Web is a part of the Pattern Web, but it seems that it works independantly from any umbral system any of the "Web Krew " ever saw.

<MC_Farstrider> That I follow, I used to climb from the Pattern Web into the DW.

<Asm0dai> That is really dangerous. McClude told me that it is safer to come from some Cyberpunk part of the Umbra... CyberCity or something...

Asm0dai leans on the bulkhead.

<Asm0dai> I'd recommend you not to enter the Web holistically. If you get hurt, you can die... permanently.

<MC_Farstrider> Oh yes, the alternate route is from Dystopia, uptown, its cyberrealm interconnects with the DW (umm, sort of a backdoor, as it was explained to me). Navi is that correct?

NAVI blinks green and still jumps up and down on the blueprints.

Marvin_Black looks around if there are some other leftovers of his proging while stroling around the webcraft

<Asm0dai> McClude told me that there is quite a number of doors there... and that even soem cities contain pocket doors that can take you there....

NAVI blinks green again after Asmo'd proclamation

<MC_Farstrider> I'm aware of the hallway of doors in the high umbra

<Asm0dai> No, these seem to be in the real world... but they are quite hidden...

<Asm0dai> Null Zone? Never heard of that. Listen, since you came in the Web I need to warn you about few things.

Hannibal_Golux is busy looking over the fine details of the ship and offers the others a grand tour to famliiarise themselves with the ship while Asmodai and Moonchild familiarise themselves with NAVI.

<Asm0dai> first your Gaian spirits cannot come here... it isn't very safe for them...

AC_Newton accepts gladly, takes Kev's hand and follows Hannibal.

<Marcello_Keagan> Well, I was thinking more about hurting the Nephandi, than building the ship. I know a little bit about coding, but not enough that I could build a thing like this.

<Asm0dai> No, it is quite different. It has its own rules and ahd placed itself from most of the Umbra. The real thing is that noone knows what exactly Turing did - but he created a VIrtual reality without real limits...

<Asm0dai> Then I'd recommend if you listen the NAvi and watch what it is doing... it can probalby find its way around here. There are no "spirits " here. All the spirits as you understand them are left at the entrance...

<Asm0dai> Here the denizens do things like spirits and function similarily to the spirits...

<Asm0dai> Dead is similar, yet she is different. I wouldn't want to get into technicalities with you. And the most imortant thing...

<Marvin_Black> Teach? What should I teach you? All knowledge is lost anyway if you die. And if you stick to this bunch of lunatics it will be sooner than later.

MC_Farstrider doesn't understand enough yet to ask intelligent questions. She is learning computer and forces though.
